Week One Still no work at Rolvenden but, behind the scenes, progress is still being made. Boiler work continues with the backhead being marked out for attaching the new manifold pad followed by drilling and trial fitting. Week 4 Not much to report given that the Railway is totally shut down currently although, fortunately, HBSS are still operational up in Liverpool so work on the boiler continues. Brian Sefton visited Barry scrapyard in Wales many times during the 70’s and 80’s and amassed hundreds of photographs and preparatory drawings for what would become ‘The Barry Collection’ – over 100 paintings of the locos there.
